Cool Trick Flo GenX Top End Kit

I have been checking out this trickflow kit with a 283/286 duration 560/560 lift cam with Gen X heads .. Thoughts??? .. How much would that cam hurt bottom end torque? Not interested in stall ... Not very knowledgable with cams ... Any input is welcomed ..

I would think with a cam that big you are going to need a stall. I would say you wouldn't be in the power until 3,000rpm's and have some major push if it didn't die when you stop.

I really dunno ... I saw nother thread with smaller cam same heads n he says its underpowered(no torque) on low end ..mmm im guessing this one wud def need stall then... Im wanting those GenX heads but lookin for cam that would keep good bottom torque without needing stall ...

Wishful thinkin im guessin

Over priced imo, grab a set of 243s and have ai or a similar company shave and port them. Then have pat g spec you out a cam. Youll need a converter, even a stock truck would gain acceleration with a higher stall.

I was under the impression that my '08 Sierra 5.3 already had 243's or at least twin from 243's anyways... cud i just get these "messaged" (milled n what not) n see noticeable gains??
