Default Tea Stage 3 Ported Heads ?

Would a set of TEA stage 3 ported heads work well on a 408+ci motor? Also i would like to add a custom turbo set-up later. They have 2.08 1.60 valves, and flow 330cfm intake, 270 cfm on the exhaust. Let me know what you guys think.

Are you looking at new or used TEA heads? We flowed a set of customer's stage 2 5.3L TEA heads that were said to flow 320/260. They went 301/201 on our SuperFlow 600. 300+ cfm is good on the intake, but my point is that advertised flow numbers can vary a LOT for cylinder heads. We offer the Precision Race Components stage 3 LS6 and 6.0L cylinder heads for $1,899 + shipping, and they flow 326/225 cfm @ .600" lift on our bench with 28" of water. After being fully CNC'ed on the 5-axis Haas, larger seats will be installed to accomodate the 2.08"/1.60" stainless steel Manley valves. Next, the valve job performed on PRC's new Newen CNC valve job machine. That's right, even the valve job is performed on a CNC machine! This will take out the inconsistencies seen on older-style valve job machines with respect to the cuts made, depth the valves are sank, etc. Human error is taken out of the equation, so every set of cylinder heads is deadly consistent. The last 402 cid LS2 engine we built with a set of PRC stage 3 6.0L heads made 530 RWHP in an '04 Corvette through full exhaust. Both the LS6 and 6.0L heads are going to flow the same. You just need to pick the set of heads that will get you to your desired compression ratio. The LS6 and 6.0L heads have 64cc and 72cc combustion chambers, respectively.

Feel free to PM or e-mail me at trevor@texas-speed.com with any questions or concerns. I'll be glad to help you pick the correct set of cylinder heads for your setup, no matter which brand you decide to go with.
