Look for a used D1 head unit. and buy the brackets from Procharger.

Dollar for dollar boost will give you the most power in a hurry. If you want more down the road you can make other changes easily... I vote D1

Update guys, took a chance and looked at a used (5k miles) Roush TVS 1900 setup today (same as SLP's TVS 1900) and it looks like it'll clear my AC brackets afterall.

So I went ahead and left a deposit.

I know I'll need a '07+ water pump, square/steel fuel rails, and some other odd and ends. I picked the kit up for a song, I think I made the right choice.

Opinions?

Yup. The best part is NO ONE expects an old square Blazer to be remotely quick.

Had a mini race vs a 2005-06 GTO tonight. He gave up before we were through the other side of the intersection. Prob had something to do with I already had 3 car lengths and pulling away.

I am sure he was, he even took me outta the hole, but never had a much of a lead.

I thought about changing to 3.73 or 4.11 gears to offset the tall 1st gear of the 80e, but I like my cruising RPM on the highway.

Instead I think I might go with a 3200 stall converter to improve my hole shot. We'll see.
