Nice Build!

You will definetly get some weight moving fast... but

I think you want to look at your Brakes.

Do you have a Hydroboost system? SS lines?
I see you have rear rotors which is nice, but there some fairly cheap larger rotor set-ups you may want to consider.

Good luck

Neither. Had health issues and a whole bunch of other things going on in my life. But for those interested, here is the start-up vid:

You hit us up at the year mark!
On a serious note, sorry to hear about your health problems; I hope things are looking up.

Also, is it working put the way you planned? Do you enjoy it or wish you had done anything differently? Did you convert your front hubs to 8-lug?

I would do it totally different! Ls3/L92 heads are too big. Cam spec'd is too big. Lots of power up top, not much torque down low. The 4L80E didn't help either with the taller first year vs. my old 4L60E.

So now I have to decide between going to cathedral heads with a new cam & intake or keep the L92 heads and swap a new cam and add a supercharger. Either way it is going to be a bunch of work and $$.

Live and learn as they say.

I have vacuum boost and my brakes suck now due to the low vacuum thanks to the cam.

Sounds like you should have went with 317 heads. Ive been reading a bunch of guys are saying the L92 heads are really lazy down low.

how about 317s, smaller cam, and a TVS1900 or TVS2300?
Or possibly a turbo?

My L76 is way behind my old LQ4 in the low end tq department. Your findings just further cement my opinion that L92s are a good HP head but not a good TQ head for us truck guys. I'll be swapping my heads out for some worked 317s and a baby cam, I'll let you know how it works out.

Sorry to hear your disappointment. I hope you find what you're looking for. I've been trying to build a great towing motor for years. I used to have a 2011 ecoboost and that convinced me that a well set up FI system is the only way to go. Unbelievable low end power.

Stock 5.3 with a 1900 at about 7-8 psi:

500 lb-ft at 2000 rpm, that will pull your teeth out.

Good luck.
