Some Gen III Questions

Whats the max you can bore out a 5.3, and a 6.0? Are LQ4 and LQ9 blocks themselves any different? How much do LQ4's usually go for? Bare block, and a longblock... Thanks guys...

The max on a 4.8/5.3 is to make it a 5.7, assuming your not going to stroke it.
The 6.0s don't have much extra room to bore them if I'm not mistaken, maybe .030" over?
Bare blocks you should be able to find for pretty cheap <$500. Long blocks depend on year, mileage, etc, but somewhere between $500-$1500.

You will be lucky if you can find a 6.0 block you can punch out 60 thou. I think most of them will safely go 40. 30 over is considered somewhat safe even using power adders.
The 6.0 blocks are the same except for those found in the newer cars (ls2).
