Default school me on head swap (5.3)

got a 210 216 110 lsa cam installed and im not exactly please with the performance gains. i guess the next thing to look into would be a head swap? already have full bolt ons minus headers but those are soon to come.

aftermarket or stock heads with some machine work? and not really wanting to spend an arm and a leg

so the basics are 5.3 with bolt ons, formentioned cam, i want to keep near stock compression and run no more thatn 93 octane fuel. this truck is used as my DD and the occasional light towing so i cant lose much down low. please help.

thanks, alex

quick more so than fast. and yea stock converter. you think a yanktt3000 or somethin of the sort would be more practical/beneficial? remember i still use this thing to tow occasionally and use it like a truck.(not saying that you or anyone else doesnt) so i cant have areally loose stall that'll burn up my tranny
