it was explained to me that the LSA was so low on the cam it wouldnt work could with FI something like 114 or higher would be better, is that true?

For a daily driver you will be fine ...once again if you install a Radix with your cam and like the power and drivability ...than thats all that matters...Its better than forking over another 3-400 for a new cam thats "blower friendly" when your not drag/bracket racing...jmo

-But yes ideally 114 lsa or bigger is ideal...but imho not mandatory...

You need headers...I didn't feel ANY gains from my cam until I put the headers on it.

The reasoning is that tighter LSA's bleed off more cylinder pressure, ie less power in an FI application, due to the valves both being open together for longer periods of time.

port and mill the 5.3 heads. u can get them to flow about 300cfm with the right port program.
