Frankly the valve events feel a lot like a blower cam.

On anther note... i generally shy sway from that much lift as it can be hard on stock valvetrain parts. If it were me, that cam would warrant roller rockers at the very least.
Thanks for the input!

Yea man it just doesnt seem ideal. it's a bit much... It will be lazy down low, and that will be amplified by a slower spool time. As others have mentioned it's a cam that would be betyer NA or with a blower. It's an early exhaust event. It would be pretty stellar with a procharger in a 5.7.

Jordan,

I just spoke with Steven about your cam's info. He says that cam's grind is
for a LS 1 or 2 engine with cathedral port heads. It would be a great cam
even if nitrous was used on the build.

Thanks, Carl Sawyer

This is what they had to say about the cam.... I told them it was going on a turbo vehicle. Vortec350ss was dead on about what it was made for!

The nitrous part they said was to get the vehicle up and going, I'm guessing off the line since it would be lazy down low. I've decide to put it in a 89 caprice, that I'm putting a ly6 in with 317 heads and my precision 74/75 turbo (it's my friends car that we're building for a fun street/race car!)... Prolly gonna add a small shot of nitrous to get it going!

The nitrous, even a 50 shot, will help for sure. It'll jack up cyl pressure down low and let the motor take advantage of those valve events before the turbo spools up... which will happen fast! haha
