Default Opinions on turbo cam

Got a cam motion camshaft on the way from L.M.R. for the 5.3 in my Tahoe. Wanted to get opinions and thoughts on it... Here's the specs

It's very aggressive in a 5.3. Its going to chop!

Frankly the valve events feel a lot like a blower cam.

On anther note... i generally shy sway from that much lift as it can be hard on stock valvetrain parts. If it were me, that cam would warrant roller rockers at the very least.

That's a lot of cam for a 5.3 in a Tahoe, how much boost do you plan to run? What stall speed converter?

Too much IMO. Go with a nice gentle triple 12 and let it eat at 12psi.

They sent you an NA cam. Send it back, tell them you want a turbo cam. Lol

I'm with everyone else that cam doesn't seem right for a 5.3 Tahoe.

Would it be better for a 6.0? I'm building one right now.....
Also I've got a ls6 cam, I could throw it in the Tahoe for now

12lbs of boost, and I'm getting the money together for a PI tripple disc at the moment... Going to be a 3,000ish stahl

Would it be better for a 6.0? And I have a ls6 cam as well that I could throw in the 5.3 until I get finished building my ly6, if you think it would be better?

That's too much cam for a 3k stall in a 5.3.

That has to be a mistake that they suggested that for a turbo 5.3. It would make a good 5.7-6.0 NA cam with a 34-3600 stall. At least that's my opinion.
