I asked the guys over at texas speed what cam they recommended for my set up and the said the Torquer v.2 or v.3.

I trust what they said i just cant decide between the to the cams as they are very similar. v.2 232/234 .595 .598 v.3 231/234 .643 .598 both will be on a 112lsa.

What do you guys recommend, im going for a ***** to the wall fast truck thats my only goal

i want to order the cam and springs to night so lets hear what yall think

From what I understand, the t3 is supposed to be a revised version of the t2. T3 is supposed to have a faster ramp rate.

I was going to run a t3 in my 6.0. My friend had a 230/236 .581/.581 on a 114 custom comp laying around his shop. I went with that instead.

If your stock 243's then the first one will do well.. As for what lobes the cams are ground on, I am not sure.. A super aggressive lobe will wear out springs faster..

Going with the v.2, and after this cam, springs, and 4" exhaust I'm
Done with the truck for a while. Ive been looking at a few c6 and c5 zo6 so the truck will be on the back burner it I find a vet. I will keep everyone updated on the cam swap progress though.

I agree and prefer the V2 for the stock headed combos. it's not that the V3 doesn't make a bit more power, because it does. It's just the slight power gains on a stock headed combo from that extra lift is very minute, and will wear out springs a bit faster so I like the lower lift on these.

Now with a ported head that doesn't back-up until well after .650" lift, the TorquerV3 would be my choice, hands down!

Just looked it up, and a couple days. We ran out of that v2 on the 112LSA somehow so we're having Comp grind it with a rush and they'll ship it directly to you!
