Oil dipstick removal, HELP.

I need to replace my oil dipstick tube, I can not figure how to get it out
anyone know how to get it out??? Please help. I bent it when installing my headers and I need to replace it.

Once you unbolt the bracket it should wiggle out. Unless of course you live up north ,then it's rusted and will brake off flush with the block and you will have to pull the pan and knock it out.............

I had the same thing happen to me...I just broke the tube in half, then stuck a screw in the tube and used a vise grip to hold it...then my friend had a slide hammer and I cant remember how but we had it so it just screwed onto an adapter to the bottom of the hammer...I had to use a really long screw also w/ a couple of vise grips...it was a bugger to get out...
and when I went to install the new one it didnt wanna go in so I had to use a wire wheel to get the paint off and used grease and she slipped right in...hope this helps

heres a link of someone else that used a slid hammer...I think where you live and milage would play a role in how well they come out...mine was in the northest in winters for 4 years and had 150K on it...it should just slid out with a little help...
