Default max effort duel tank fuel system?

after hooking up this meth kit and puting in a small cell it gave me some confidence it building a fuel system. braided lines and fittings and stuff is prety easy to work with. i have to be near the limit of my stock fuel lines and can probably pay for a fair portion of a new set up by selling my twin intake set up.

i really dont know much about it but have some ideas. i am thinking about making it a twin fuel set up.

stock tank with some bulkhead fittings thru the top and a line with a sock to the bottom rear of the tank. maybe -8 feed and -6 return. not sure of the pump/pumps but it seems like i hear bad stuff about most pumps other than the basic walbro inlines that are prety cheap. might just run 2 of those, with a big fuel line i think they would go a long ways.

then a 10 gallon cell in the rear with race fuel and some kind of valves(manual or electric) to select wich tank to use.

race fuel is over $4/gallon and will probably be going up a ton. i am to the point where i should be running more than a 50% mix of race.

now for some questions.

does anyone make a y selector valve? it would be nice to just flip 2 valves(suply and return) rather than 4(2 on and 2 off). or even some kind of double y valve where there is one lever that flips two valves at once. i really dont know what they sell.

how much hp can a -8 line support at 70 psi?

i see lots of diferent brands of braided fuel lines. is the summit brand good or are one of the other brands at summit better? is there anything wrong with using braided lines for everything?

is there a good pump? like i said above i hear bad stuff about most pumps but it seems like everyone likes the inline walbros. i would need to y to them and off of them again but they are so cheap that might be a good way to go. i could stage them but shoudn't need to with a -6 return.

i am probably aroun 900fwhp right now. thinking i will see 1000-1200fwhp eventualy but who knows i might just get crazy with the thing and really crank it up. what kind of stuff do you need to build a 2000hp fuel system?

Ya I agree with that. Let me talk to my brother engine/car builder. He builds 1000rwhp cars everyday. I know my bro is running a Walbro(sp) electric pump and like 90lb/hr injectors. I dont know the line size. I will do some recon

Aeromotive offers some sweet EFI fuel pumps such as this:

Cartek offers a kit (not that you would want that) that offers the same ingredients as you were thinking about that they claim can support 1000hp:
http://www.cartech.net/fuelsystems.htm
and I know that the guy with the 1600+rwhp Viper (8.75@168) runs a fuel pump from Paxton....more than likely the 8001688.

I would think about running -10 fuel line over the -8 for the feed....and maybe a diverter could be modified to work...something like the Ford trucks with dual tanks run.
