I gave them my truck specs. I didn't mention that I had square port heads, no. Other than your previous reply, I wasn't aware that's what I had.

No and they know full well what theyre doing but without knowing its a gen4 engine they wouldnt know that, they probably assumed it was a lq4/9 with cathedral port heads not an L76 with rectangular port....

Well, in my defense I did specify L76 6.0..

How hard is it to get ahold of a set of cathedral port heads without going aftermarket? Are the heads from an lq4/9 interchangeable with mine? Or is it even worth messing with?

Stay rectangle but go to the GMPP CNC LS3 heads from the parts counter if you want to buy heads.

I would call them back or even go through and pay the $20 for the cam worksheet and specifically tell them the heads are in fact 823 or 0821 castings.... Im guessing they will probably recommend an ls3 cam with stage 2 or maybe even 3.... I told them i wanted to see 400-450rwhp na with my setup and they recommended the stage 2 ls3 cam.... Which i have to go drive, but have a sick 6 month old that takes precedence.....

I wouldn't say I necessarily "want" to buy heads, but if there are decent gains to be had then I'll go for it.

No, like you saw I didn't, but again I'm not bashing btr in the slightest.

I hope the little one gets better
What exactly is that worksheet? You just enter your goals you're looking for out of your vehicle?
Thanks again for all your help
