Default new build questions

Hey guys got a couple questions I bought a motor from the local salvage yard its a 6.0 out of a 2500 and I've read that its got the longer crank what flywheel am I gonna have to use in my swap can I use my 4.8 flywheel or ??? I'm putting a cam and new heads on it. It'll have the vrx-3 cam from vengeance and 243 heads with the truck intake curious why the compression will be by using stock head gaskets?

What year is the block? 99-02 is longer crank (i think) 03+ has the same length crank as the 5.3
If it is an older 6.0 i think you can run the spacer with your current flexplate.

Compression with stock 243s should be 10:4 or 10:5
