Default replaceing lifters

Do I have to pull heads and the manifold or just the valve covers and intake manifold? I'm curious. If you have a link to a how to, it would help a lot.

Hey buddy you will have to take it down to a short block to get the lifters out. Intake, exhaust manifolds or headers, valve covers, heads, and all valvetrain has to come off the heads.....
