I use dial bore gauges, 0018~.002'' on the mains, and rods with GM bearings.

Thank you, I try to keep everything as clean, and dust free as I can.

When I blew up the old stock bottom end it banged one head up pretty bad. I probably could have saved it but I didn't want to take a chance.

ah, I didn't know you gernaded the old motor. I had one head for my new motor that had seat damage on almost every seat. But rather then waist the time replacing nearly half the seats, I just replaced it. I have a set of heads from a BBQ special that got so hot, the seats actually droped out of it.... There only good for dummy mock up or if some one wanted to use them for an in car Valve clearance head with that tool from ISKY or the one from Lindy

Do you have any post about your turbo set up???

I HAVE to tell you guys this is one FAST fregin truck!!! I think its the fasted street car/truck Ive been in! Especially up here in the clouds. He boosted it up to about 7-8psi on the launch in 4x4 and it just ripped all 4 tires off for a good 20-30 feet and just hauled ***! This truck is the real deal and look so sleeperish it's not even funny My truck is fast, but nothing like this.

Jared is a top notch engine builder, that's for sure Might have to get him to work over my old 4.8,
