Its setup too, the right combination of parts. you need a tranny that can hold on when the tires are able to hook, because a stock 60e wont handle that

so a stock tranny won't last me long? I'm looking at the package deal at Texas-speed.com cnc stage 2.5 5.3 heads with any choice of cam, wanting to run a 3000 cause it will be a DD what cam do you guys think

 

tsp220 is a proven cam and will go well with the stall and heads.
and very few 60e's hold up to more than stock power in these trucks.
you will want a big tranny cooler, vette servo's and a shift kit, that will help but a built tranny is usually needed
