LS6 yellow springs are not the same as PAC 1218 beehive springs (PAC springs are better). Personally, I would check out the Comp Cams 212/218 "HIGH LIFT" from Texas Speed. They have a good deal on a kit that includes the cam, springs, and pushrods for $610.

The Comp Cam I listed is very similar, but has a little more intake duration (see below).

Specifics:
•Basic Operating RPM Range: 1,500-6,800
•Duration at 050 inch Lift: 212 int./218 exh.
•Valve Lift with Factory 1.7:1 Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.558 int./0.563 exh. lift
•Lobe Separation (degrees): 115
•Grind Number: LS1 XR265HR-15

If you want cheap, look at the Trick Flow cam that Summit Racing sells for $288 (216/220 and .560/.560).

I would get that trick flow 216/220 if I were you. Only $288 shipped brand new. Most cams go for $200-250 used so that is a smoking deal.
