Should have bought my Darts they were awesome on the 402 they came off of and the runner would have been plenty I am sure. If you do deside to maybe swap those heads out I might be interested in them for my LS1

 

people have made 390/400 on those same heads and a mid sized cam on a 5.3, let alone a 370. You should be at least 400. Elaborate more on your injector issues...what size are they? It sounds like you ran out of fuel up top

 

i was not there. but he told me i need some bigger injector "mine are done" he said. LOL max out a 112%, the 225 fuel pump is good he said but i just need to find some 42lbs injectors. They are 5.3 59cc PRC 2.5 heads. i was a 10.2:1 with the stock 72cc and a .40 head gasket. i hoping i can get some 42s and get a little more out of it.

running out of fuel causing a lean condition will cost you hp. find out what the run was taken to and how lean its getting

 

i know it was lean because he said so. i just dont know how long he ran it out to. but i will find out. i just need to find some injectors. i hope it will get around 390 or so.

 

i missed the injector issue in the original post. which injectors are you using? my stock truck injectors were at 110% idc on my 220 cammed 5.3. that is probably most of your problem.

 

yes yes yes....they are the stock one that cam on the truck. i was told i would not need them but i was thinking all the time that i was going to need them. so im posted up on the parts for sell to try to find some.

 

im going to call him tomo, and see what he ran it to, and try to get some injector.
