No worries

I know most people here disagree, but I REALLY think you should at least have the heads cleaned up a bit. Id personally get a mild port job on them for boost. Opening up the exhuast port is a GREAT idea for a supercharged application. Just because it will make power doesn't mean its happy doing it.
It will be much happier if the exhuast was getting out better. residual exhuast sucks. it is a great way to heat up intake charge, dilute it and knock.
Good valves are a must imo and I've seen some good results with ceramic coating too.
When boost is involved, cooling and tuning is always the name of the game. always.
Unfortunately, they are booth very overlooked. Aux oil coolers are aweome.
Tuning should take a LONG time. 3-4 hours on a dyno is NOT enough to have part throttle conditions correct. I dont care who is tuning it, its just not enough. Your best bet is to get software and tune yourself as you drive whenever you can for a few weeks. Why people get a dynotune and think they have a well tuned vehicle is beyond me. Just one of those things I guess.

when i finally do this, whatever i am doing, I'm planning on leaving the truck with the builder/tuner (Dez Racing) for as long as it takes, including tuning. If that means leaving it for a week just for tuning, so be it. Tuning a boosted vehicle sucks. Take my word for it. It is never finished.

At my last job, it took several months to a tune a car after bolting on a blower and some other little things.... And that guy was one of the (if not the) best tuner in the country.
Took just as long when we did the turbos too... but that was a few internals too.

Ok, so, it looks like if i'm gonna do it i should do a 402 or 408. I've shopped around and the cheapest one i found is $7000+. Installation is gonna be $1200-$1500. Then I found out I need an entire new fuel system, $1000-2000 depending on who you ask. So, that means, $10,000 total. YIKES!!!! Not sure i can swing that. But man, how cool would it be to have 600+ rwhp
