yep i agree about the hipe!!! but i am one to try it lol


wouldnt 243s have to be milled pretty good to get the compression up on the 5.3 ?

i know 5.3 heads will raise the compression without being milled, but not sure about the 243

243 63cc?, 5.3 heads 62-61 cc depending on what book you look at. Not 100% on the 243 but should be close.

Agreed with the L92's being best on 400+ inches. Also agree that the L76 intake becomes a restriction above 6000, even on a 6.0. I have the L92's and do not like how much torque i've lost on the low end. If you have a 6.0 and a 3000+ stall and a larger cam, then the L92's may do pretty good for you. If you have a more mild set up then ported 5.3's or 243's is the better way to go. Besides, the L92's have a 69-70cc chamber to consider as well.
I have been running the L92's for over a year and will be swapping back to cathedral port soon. I really could use the low end tq due to me being a manual trans.

I put down 413/401 with my L92's
