He didn't, I was only charged minimal for him cleaning my plugs and re-installing them. I also refilled the nitrous to have it ready for my dynotune.

Why don't you get someone local to tune your truck. That way you don't have to hassel with sending it off, and waiting for it to return. When you do anything new, all you do is call your guy, and he retunes it that night?! That's what I do.

I'm glad you got it figured out. I'm suprised the rockers werent making a butt load of noise though.

LOL! no the ticking wouldn't really get your attention. If the rocker was really loose I think you'd know something was wrong. Thats why you never mentioned it before, it wasnt bad enough to let you hear it but was bad enough to kill performance. I've heard several times to re torque the rocker bolts after a xxx miles. I never have....maybe I should

I never heard any unusual noises besides the sewing machine sound. I did feel the truck very slow but I just assumed that I had oversized the cam and that my tune was off. Fixing that crap was a huge load off my back. I knew something was wrong when I upsized the cam, added 4.10 gears, and longtubes and got slower. After I get my dyno tune I plan on leaving the truck alone and saving up for a built 6.0 or 408.
