Default MTI & TSP cam differences

Hey guys, what is the difference between MTI's C2 cam and TSP's 224R cam? MTI's specs on the C2 are 224/224 .581/.581 112 LSA and TSP's 224R is 224/224 .581/.581 on your choice of LSA. TSP says the 224R uses XER lobes and is about $20 cheaper than MTI. What would the difference be in the 2?

Its the same cam, they just call them different names. Choose your lobe seperation depending on what mods you have done to your engine.

Cool, I guess I am going TSP then since they are cheaper, have xer lobes, and are about an hour and a half away. Thanks for the input guys!

Based on the mods in sig with a 3400 fuddle stall, should I go 112 or 114 lobe separation?

with a 224 i woudl go 112, with 226 and above i would go 114, 112 will give you nice lope but devote more to high rpm and less to low, your 3400 will take care of that though

Cool, looks like I am going to go with a Fuddle 3400, TSP 224R on a 112, and comp 918s with titanium retainers. Should I upgrade pushrods with this setup or not?
