i woudl upgrade the pushrods instead of the retainers IMO.

yep. The retainers arent as likely to fail under higher spring pressures as the pushrods will be... hardened pushrods are good insurance.

Would I just go with the standard 7.4" length?

those should work. also the stock retainers will be fine for now, but if you have spare change for them go for it.

Cool, thanks guys! I just ordered my Fuddle stall and I am going to try to order the springs and pushrods at least tomorrow, possibly retainers as well.

get the 7.4's haredened pushrods chormeoly (sp?)

they are having sale's on cams right now... you can get that same cam by comp cam with the XER lobes for cheaper that TSP and MTI right now... I called myself and speed engineering is having a good deal on cams...

Yeah, some of their truck cams look nice. I'd love to be able to jump on the sale.

Well I got a speed inc cam from a guy on tech that said it is a 224/224 .581/.581 112 lsa and when I checked the numbers on it the cam looks to be on a 114 lsa instead of a 112. What will this do to the powerband? Will I have to rev higher to get power than I would on a 112?

im pretty sure with the lower LSA's you have to rev higher or at least the higher LSA's allow for more low end but im not positive
