I like it better than the Tr 224 114Lsa I had but I changed the heads at the same time. It is a good daily driver not great but not bad by any means. The C2 needed a little more tuning to idle but that has a lot to do with the LSA.

I did dyno with the Tr224 and put down 333rwhp and ran a best of 13.2 at 104 with traction problems. I haven't dynoed or raced with the C2 yet but it is definitely stronger down low and up top partially due to the heads.

When I bought the C2 I was looking for a cam with the same duration as the TR but more lift and I found the C2 used for a few hundred. I wouldn't buy one brand new I would just have a custom one cut.

As for being satisfied ya umm nope there's a 6.0 in the garage that will go in next probably with a used cam. I'm cheap I guess.

you say you wouldnt have the C2 but a custom ground cam, for your 5.3 with stock heads what you would custom grind to...do you like the .581 lift? or what about the Futural with .588? that cam sounds like what im lookin for decent DD, ill have it tuned on the dyno so tuning shoudlnt be a problem and 333WHP is that with bolt ons or JUST cam?

The 333 rwhp was with Tr224, long tubes, Bassani cat back, e-fans, my tune, 4.10 gears and a converter.

I'm pretty sure the dyno couldn't even tell the difference between .581 and .588 lift...

As for the custom cam find a cam grinder that you like and ask their opinion that's what I would do.

A dyno tune will get you good max power but it won't help with drive-ability, only knowledge or a street tune will get that right.

the people on the dyno tune, when they tuned my cam now, i figure they would make it driveable concording with max power, they arent going to give you 50hp if it cant idle and wont drive... but regardless im lookin for ls1 edit software and plan on trying to learn how to tune
