Default What about this cam?

MTI C1 Cam 222/222 .566/.566 114

Is it streetable? What supporting mods do I need? I was thinking yellow ls6 springs, 3k stall, shift kit and servos, headers, gears and tune?

Also how will it lope? Love that lopey sound of a cam.

That cam would work fine with that set up, but the 114lsa won't be as lopey as a 112, but notacble of the stock cam's lsa. If ya want lope get a 112lsa

Nice streetable cam...I would get a 9.5" converter and some 7.4" pushrods as well. Should move nicely with the supporting mods.

What do you think about a TCI lockup TC to go with it? Thanks!!

Also LS6 springs will work, right?

A lot of people tend to stay away from tci converters...can't say anything bad myself, but most people are running yank, vig, or fuddle. I would go with a fuddle 3200k 9.5" converter myself, but found a good deal on a vig 3200. The ls6 springs are good for .550 lift, but you could probably get away with them on that cam. Me myself, would opt for the new 918s or some patriot golds since 918s are pretty impossible to get ahold of now.

I agree for the most part. The ls6 springs are good to quite a bit over .550 lift. Hell the z06 cam has .550 lift and GM trusted those springs in every one of those vehicles. According to LS1tech they are good to .570 lift and even still there are plenty of guys running .600 lift cams with them and daily driving them at that.
