Im curoius to see who has made on the 4.8 N/A. I know theres not no many people modding them out there... Most just opt for the swap. But im all for makin my little 4.8 run with the bigger dogs, and honestly cant recall see anyone put better numbers then what i did. Im not going for bragging rights, i just want to see what im capable of..

Im havin the same idea.I have the 4.8L and getting ideas on how to boost up to 400 hp with boltons and spray.How good is that Cam your planning on getting and where are you getting it from?Im trying to upgrade internally myself but im debating on a 6.0L swap and going from there

 

crimson85 - if you want 400hp with boltons AND spray, all you need is a cam on the 4.8 and a few boltons and a 100shot and youre there. i was under the impression you wanted 400hp NA out of the 4.8 + the n2o

5speedsierra - im not sure on the highest 4.8L NA dyno numbers, you might check the dyno truck list on this site. i think the fastest 1/4mile et for a 4.8L NA was 01thunder with a 13.2-13.2 and he had worked heads, cam, FULL boltons, weiand intake, good sized stall, gears, lsd, he almost had all he could get out of the combo without going to a bigger motor or nitrous or boost

 

There was a white RCSB a while back with a 4.8 and a 222/224 cam that made 302 rwhp. I can't remember his name though but it was stout.

 

who was that directed to crimson? if it was me, then the cam was installed in february...

i put 332 to the lug nuts on a dynapack dyno.

thats why i posted this thread. becasue i cant recall seeing anyone with higher power output than me, and i know theres got to be someone out there...

making 330/310 with a small cam and exhaust only is very admirable! i would be damn happy to do that in mine.

he has efans stock and also headers, ORY, cold air intake. about hte only thing left is underdrive pulleys and he has full boltons. stock converter is helping him dyno higher also
