i'm thinking of swaping a 6.0 motor into my project car, it will have a edelbrock carbed intake on it. a nice big cam. It will mostly be driven to and from the track with some occasional cruises. would the 5.3 or ls1 heads be an improvement over the stock heads?

 

5.3 should raise the CR. ive seen some combos running the 5.3s but for the flow rate of the 317 i would stick with them for a large cam. my understanding big cams like air flow
