You need the yellow Ls6 springs with the cam. Don't run the stock truck springs they are too light, and won't handle the lift. You will also likley need longer pushrods with that cam.

Yeah you will get people saying that "oh you don't know about hydraulic lifters do ya" if you mention getting the 7.425 pushrods. I say get COMP chromoly 7.425's and, keep your valvetrain with the intended dimensions, and you will be better off in the end.

I've seen plenty of guys run the Z06 cam with stock pishrods and with 7.425's. If you already have moly 7.400 pushrodsm use them. If you have to buy pushrods (and you should replace the weak stock ones IMO), then pick up 7.425's. If heard the valvetrain will be quieter with the 7.425's.

you cant say that comp is a bad product....they have been around forever and they have some of the best products out there, I know that your latest incident really sucks but being that the comp 918's are rated to .600 lift and your cam I believe was right at .600...what do you expect? they can only hold for so long on a cam as big as you were running pushing it right to the limit. Not trying to start an argument just pointing out that comp does have quality products and 9 out of 10 guys are happy with them. Being old school or new school.
Sorry for getting off topic as well!

I didn't say they were a bad company. I simply said I'll never own another comp product. You can have the best product in the world but if your customer service sucks like COMP you aint got ****

Well...I personally have never had any issue with customer service with them. However I have heard of a few stories...yours included. It does really suck what happened to you. But I wouldnt steer people away from a good product because of a couple of cases where comp wouldnt fix a mistake that wasnt necessarily their's.
