ls6 or 918springs

Default ls6 or 918springs

Will the ls6 springs work good on a .570 lift cam or will the 918 springs be needed its a 226/229 cam with an lsa112 really need to know thanks

That's higher than I'd go with LS6 springs...

LS6 springs are only good to .550"

I'd be more concerned about the seat pressure than the lift...Lingenfelter sells LS6 springs with their cam kits that exceed .570 lift, but I'll bet that the lobes aren't nearly as aggressive as say a Comp XER lobe

I wouldn't run Ls6 springs with that cam. The pac, or 918's would be a much better choice. When you get the seat psi too low for the lobe profile the valve will bounce on the seat, and hurt power. Even on the low end.
