So I have a 5.3 now in my truck in my sig. I might have a chance to pickup an LS1 for CHEAP! So I was wondering...


1. Will everything from my truck bolt up to the LS1 including the cam?

2. will I have to get my computer retuned right away?

3. will a stock ls1 handle 7psi of boost?

4. Will it bolt right up to my trans?

5. How much power would I gain over my 5.3?

6. Will my 5.3 injectors work on the LS1 intake?


(any other suggestions you guys have let me know)

I wouldn't go through all of that work for just +- 20 cubic inches on a FI setup.

 

not to mention your compression would be higher if u run your 5.3 heads. so yea tune would definetly make it safer.
