Default LS1 heads on 5.3

If I got LS1 heads and had em mileld down a little to lower the compression back down to stock would thses be a good head to run or should I stick with the stock 5.3 heads?

And if I went with the ls1 heads the truck intake could still be used correct?

You're gonna have issues with the valves being shrouded if you use the LS1 heads. Your stock heads flow pretty well but can be improved somewhat by a mild pocket port job. Good luck!

Ive heard that but I was making sure, my friend has a spare set of ls1 heads and I figured theyd flow a lot better.

Im gunna stick with the 5.3 heads then.
