Default Looking for a good combination for my 4.8

Ive got about 2500 to put into my truck. Its a 2000 rcsb lr4 4.8 Ive been looking into the btr stage 3 truck cam and a Tbss intake manifold with some long tubes. The truck is completely stick right now minus a CAI. My goal is to make somewhere north of 350whp. Thanks!

That is going to make the truck drive like a dog.

You should be looking at buying a 6.0 and camming it for that money, that's about what it cost for me to do mine.

So basically just leave the 4.8 alone and look into a 6.0 for any real gains?

Correct. You need the torque the extra cubic inches will give you

For a $2,500 budget I say a 6.0 with gen 4 rods and maybe a super budget cam, only of the low lift summit truck cams and a tune. Or just a tune because a good tune is the most important thing.
