I agree...

Maybe something like the Summit "Ghost" Cam 222/233 .600/.575 115* with a set of PAC 1218 springs (good to .600 lift). It idles almost stock with the 115* LSA with just a little chop. Over at Ls1tech they love this camshaft... puts down some nice numbers too. In the larger 6.0 it's gonna tame the idle down probably enough the stock torque converter would work just fine. Or drop in a factory $125 Trailblazer I6 converter during the swap for a little extra stall.

Yeah I agree definitely do the 6.0 route. Only boost if feeling froggy.

If I had to do my life over it would be to cam a little larger than the stage 2 TSP. Didn't have the money at the time.

If I had it to do over again 15 years ago, I would have worked toward a turbo setup and never looked back.
don't get On3 garbage either.

I've got over 330,000 miles on a KBRacing front mount setup with a Borg Warner S475/83.
Best money I've ever spent.
Started out on a stock engine. Then did cam later.
