Johnson 2110 are the best drop in lifters but they are expensive. My second choice is the Morel MM7717 lifters (what I'm running with a 6800 rpm limiter). The Morels are so much better than the bulk Delphi LS7 lifters. My bulk LS7's were very noisy. The Genuine ACDelco LS7 lifters are good but are over twice the costs of the Delphi bulk LS7 lifters. The Genuine ACDelco LS7's come in individual ACDelco blue & white boxes.

Agreed. Johnson 2110s. I use them in all the high rpm turbo engines.

After you choose... take a look at the WS6store they ship free ($100+) with no taxes.

They do a lot of R&D too which equals really good support.

Run link bars in a few Turbo 427s but thats about it. Havent had a need for them when the johnsons have done us good in the other engines.
300-400 isnt considered a crazy shot anyway not if the engine already makes 500 NA.
Get the heads softened for nitrous and get the exhaust ports fixed up for it too. Also hopefullly your running 1-7/8 headers?
The Transam i fixed for the guy eariler this year now has a 150 dry and a 400 wet direct port on a 408. Good thing about the holley is i could retard the timing based on the nitrous % on the progressive ramp so it was still pretty responsive in the low to mid duty cycle of the ramp. Everywhere he races doesnt have good prep so having to hit it hard with the dry off the transbrake and ramp in the direct port as traction allows.
I would look into a nitrous specific cam if this is going to be a max effort engine.

Btr picked it out for me, but only 13/4 header right now I move up to 1 7/8 when 6.0 goes in though. What more of a budget lifter?
