Default LC9 to 3.800 for boost

Are the liners in the aluminum 5.3s (LC9), thick enough to bore to 3.800 and still be safe for boost?

I don't think the aluminum blocks are very "safe" for boost at all. Unless it's really low boost.

No idea how big you can make the stock LC9 but they are plenty good for 500+ hp, several guys on here run turbo/blower setups on the stock blocks still. An iron block would be better for big big power.

You can absolutely take them out to 3.800" bore without issue, and still be safe with boost.
