Default Large Cam in a 6.0 swap

I"ve got a LQ4 6.0 with stock #853 castings with 918 springs and gm 6.0 MLS head gaskets. the heads are not milled.

Can i fit a .595 lift thinking maybe a 233/233 .595 595 112lsa?

thanks

is probably aint too big, I know a guy from LA running a 228/230 on a 6.0?? Im pretty sure you'll need a 3000-3200 converter though...

I am running a 230/236 .591/.601 110lsa in my LQ9 with stage 2 64cc LS6 heads. I did not have any clearance problems.

Dyno Graph

Above is a link to Kano's setup put on the dyno and shows what happens when the camshaft is not matched to the heads/intake correctly. He was using a 228/230 profile.

Please let us know of your results. I wouldn't be suprised if your dynos compare very similar to his... Unfortunately.

WCCH heads. 80% head 'before' the truck intake is strapped on it.
Limited RPM range and a head that is flowing a good portion out that it had brought in... Not a scenario for a 'large' standard split if one at all.

I may look into doing a fast 90mm TB intake before to long. The conversion just seems to be a little pricy.
