reving your motor out
ok i was doing some reserch on here and was unable to find any info on this. maybe i just dont know what to type in to find it...
but...my question is what is a safe rpm that you can rev the 5.3L out to with stock internals..i have seen a few people reving there engin out to like 6800-7000 and i was thinking that they had some internal stuff done...but i ws not sure..

ok...i wasnt thinking it was much more then 6000....i do plan on putting a cam, sprigs and rods in hopefully byJune....but theres so many cams out there so i still have to do tons more reserch on what cam will work best for me....thanks for the quick reply v8 i wasnt expecting anyone to post until tomarrow sometime...

Everyones opinions on this may differe but I usually try to stay under 6200 on stock stuff. With cam, springs and pushrods I usually rev out to about 6500 and have gone as high as 6700 when I was N/A.
