I got a 2005 VHO with a lq9 and have been thinking of swapping some l92 heads on it, l92 intake, and changing cams. My question is what would be the most cost effective way to get all parts needed for the swap.

The truck is my daily driver and wouldn't want to go bigger than a 3000 stall converter. I won't be trying to push it 7000 rpm either so I don't feel like I need all the top of the line heads, roller rockers, etc, etc.

So what's the best way, should I start calling sponsors and see if one could put me together a complete kit or would I be better off trying to piece something together myself.
