I doubt it is anything to do with the design/pieces of the motor more like too much hp for stock hypeurtectic pistons. Its common over on tech, once you get in the 550rwhp range the ring lands start giving up the ghost and thats exactly what happened here IMO. I doubt you had any knock with the metric ton of meth you were spraying, probably more like extremely high cylinder pressures from 14#s of boost. Running your numbers through a calc assuming a race weight of 5K, you should have been in the 650rwhp range. Thats about 800 at the crank, thats alot to ask of stock internals.

Zzebes if the boost amplified the piston coming out of the hole at BDC he would have bearing problems since the only parts that can shift at all are the bearing tolerances.

No CKS, and the truck wight 5,000 with no seat spare or drop hitch, so yes the engine was make more than double the stock hp....
