Folks are putting these ls motors in everything now, quality, reliability and easy power gains.
There's a guy here in the Houston area that has mastered the install of a Vette engine into a Porche Carrera. He named it Jet Toy.

Advance adapters, downey offroad, and northwest offroad all make mounts for the sbc but to my knowledge nobody makes mounts for the ls series. so me and some friends will be building the mounts for scratch unless anyone knows of a company who makes conversion mounts

I machined some adapters for a buddies truck97 silvy, pulled the old 5.7 and bolted up a newer 5.3

Well I have a LQ9 with stage 2 heads and cam that was originally for my truck, that I been thinkin about putting in my Jeep wrangler with a 5 speed, the conversion kit cost me about 1200 for the mounts, radiator, and adapter to the transmission. I Believe it might be to much motor for the Jeep and stick with a mild 5.3L I have in my other corner.
