Ah. Maybe I should have said "high boost" 
I've heard from a couple of NY vette shops that they are "no good" for high boost and that they pull out the ls2s in favor of other blocks (iron, I'd imagine).
I duuno
TJ's build put out a "little power" there, maybe these vette shops are just not so good with the tuning?

the stock bottom end will be good to around 500rwhp or so.
if your really gonna build this thing up you might as well start with the trans-FLT,RPM.
there's plenty of guys over yonder runnin boosted tbss's
