go with the 224/224 588/588 from texas speed and if you want a good set of heads get the patriot stage 2.5- 5.3 heads good combo should put you around 325-335 rwhp. while your at it call nelson performance outta san antonio and let them hook you up with the tune

same with me! 2007 sierra n/b cc 4x2,4.8,and crappy 3:23s.my list so far is fipk.160stat,headders,w/ 1into2 flowmaster 50s,tr22o,3000 stall yank converter, a wheatley tune,transcooler,and 3:73s.am i on the right track? nothing too racy, thats what my 71 chevelle is for.

There's a lot of guys making good numbers with their 4.8's around here, search the GM Performance and Exhaust section and you'll find a ton of info. A nice upgrade for any 4.8/5.3 is to swap in a 6.0, many have done it, and many have plans to also Search "6.0 swap" and after a few days of reading you'll probably be sold on wanting more cubes
