if you have high miles might as well replace the chain. i got a double roller just cuz i could and it was only 20$ more. to each his own. you wont BREAK a single chain unless you have HIGH HP

got a double roller for a $100. it was a jp performance adjustable up to 8 degrees. id get the rod bolts just in case. insurance!!!!

rod bolts can be a pain to install IMO unless you have the motor completely out. then might as well but at 6400 theres no reason. thats where the C6 vette shifts (maybe even 6600) so the rod bolts have got to be good AT LEAST that high. BTW im pretty sure they have used the same rod bolts in genIII engines since 2000
