they are prettty much the best bolt on bars out there for leaf spring setups

 

First off, I'd love to hear a soundclip of that cam in the 4.8 if you have one. I've always thought this would be a good cam for that engine.

Secondly, I think the 4.10's would be great, you may even consider stepping the converter up to a 3000. I was running that same cam in my 04 sierra 5.3 crew cab, and loved it. I was running 3.90's and a 2500 stall, but it was leaving a lot on the table. Still powered me to a 14.2 best.

Traction will be a bit of an issue, but might not be all that bad. I would definitely say step up to some better tires.
