Few questions for a friend
#1
Hes looking at building a N/A 6.0 for his RCSB chevy. Right now hes got a 5.3 in it with all bolt ons and a built trans with a true trac and 3.73s in the rear. Hes looking for a little more... So he has a 6.0 block and is going to be puttin flat top pistons out of a LS2 i think? What kinda heads would you recomend for his motor? just keep the stock 317's or go with something else?
Any help is appreciated!
thanks

get some cnc machined 243s they will flow a ton and they will raise the compression.
check out some sponsors like TSP ----------->
their stage one are $1100

even stock 243s would go nicely with that.. they flow the same as the 317 but have 64cc chambers vs 317s 71cc chambers..with the ls2 pistons and 243 heads you would basically have an iron block ls2

so he could put those pistons in it with the 243 heads and some stock gaskets and be fine compression raito wise? would it help to bump it up a little bit? Hes looking to do a little cam, and some tuning with all his bolt ons and see what happends...
