The search function works great...I usually don't bust ***** about folks asking a question that's asked every day, but this topic has been beaten to death.
LS1 and LT1 fans are a direct swap but require that you fab 2 brackets for the top
05+ efans require a 34" radiator and are also a direct swap and look totally stock when done correctly.
You will need to either make or buy a harness for the efan control and have your PCM tuned to turn the fans on. Our sponsors such as Blackbear and Nelson sell plug and play harnesses for about $90 to $100. You'll either need tuning software such as EFILive or HPTuners to tune the PCM to turn the fan on, or you can get a custom tune from one of our sponsors and have them turn the fans on. BlackBear, Wheatley, or Nelson can handle the tuning for you.
Mods, can we please move this thread to the GM Exhaust and Performance section, where the thousands of other efan threads are.

BTW, welcome to the site ryan

Tom, there was a link to your thread in there, maybe you can post that one up as it took me a while to find it the first time....
*EDIT* Fixed the links

No offense, but did you just randomly click on links with your eyes closed? I'm just really curious as to how you thought electric fans are an internal engine modification.

He only has 34 posts, so he doesn't post that much.
