Dynamic Compression Ratio How much is to much?

I cant see sigs so im blind. what engine are you building? seems like a serious build with that much compression, but a small cam for a big motor.. so im a little lost!

It's an 05 ss. Lq9, heavily ported 241s, 57cc chambers, ported tbss intake and tb, 219/227 .607 .614 112lsa, Long tubes, full 3" into xpipe,

I've ran DCR from 8.5-8.8 and has worked very well for me.

If you built it with that high of SCR, why not hit it with a good size cam to take advantage of the High CR?

Umm.. Isn't a stock l33 close to 9.5:1 dcr and can run on 87?

Dirty hit it right on the head. The vmax is damn near the same way by my calculations.

Do you have a source for this? Sure your not thinking of the SCR instead?

As far as I know, the scr is 9.9:1, as for camshaft duration, I've seen 191/190 and I've seen 193/193 @.050.
