Default Crank timing gear

How do you get the crankshaft timing chain gear off? Is there a special tool or what?

I would assume a standard gear puller would work, but I'm not 100% sure.

Just use the same 3-jaw puller that you used to get the harmonic balancer off. It comes loose pretty quick and will then slide off.
