Could this cam pass emissions?
Im selecting a cam for my 4.030 x 3.900 LS build for my 2500 would a 212/218 cam with a 5.49/5.49 lift and a 115+5 lsa pass emissions? I have that sniffer test here in utah

Where about in Utah are you? I just redid my emissions in January in Davis county and don't recall have a sniffer test done. My 01 is a 1500
Edit: ah my bad I misread that. I didn't know 3/4 ton trucks had to have it done. As long as you still have cats and a good tune it should be fine.

Here's a consideration for anyone contemplating what will/won't pass.
In my metro, if a newly registered auto is brought into the metro testing counties it will be sniff tested upon it's first test. Once it passes the sniff test the first time, it's just an OBDII checkup annually to scan for codes. If you're planning big upgrades on a newly registered vehicle, it's best to get it tested/registered first, and then go for the build.
